We have grate expectations for this weekend, because Austin Mac + Cheese Festival will take over Star Hill Ranch this Sunday, Nov. 16.

It’s going to be a mac-nificent day with 25+ restaurants serving their take on this year’s theme: Tropical Party. Here’s what’s going to be so gouda.

Guests will sample bites — think jerk chicken mac + cheese, surf and turf mac, or spam and pineapple grilled cheese — and vote for their favorites for the People’s Choice Award. A panel, of judges will also crown a Judge’s Champion.

Here are the participating restaurants:

  • The Original Black’s BBQ | 2024 Judge’s Champion
  • Twin Isle Caribbean
  • TLC
  • Guest House
  • Chic’K Hot Flame
  • Industry Austin
  • Waylon J’s Barbeque
  • The Pretty Farmer
  • MAC’s Mac & Cheese Shop
  • B-Lux Grill & Bar
  • Smoky Trio
  • Knotty Deck Kitchen & Bar
  • Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa
  • Ruthie’s Food Truck
  • Austin Int’l Airport Beats & Eats
  • League Kitchen
  • Mama Laverne Foods “Love Bites”
  • Antonelli’s Cheese | VIP lounge

But wait, there’s more. Dessert will be provided by Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream, Teal House Bakery, and Shaved Ice Island. Tropical drinks will be provided by Dulce Vida Tequila, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Desert Door Texas Sotol, and Vista Brewing, plus Still Austin Whisky in the VIP lounge.

Cheddar late than never — there’s still time to grab tickets.
