Did you know Austin is home to the Sustainable Food Center? This regional market network supports small to mid-sized farms and ranches in Central Texas that offer their products at local farmers markets.

In the spirit of supporting all things local, we’ve rounded up eight farmers markets in the Austin area where you’ll find fresh food, live music, and all the local vibes.

Texas Farmers’ Market at Mueller | Sundays, year-round | 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

  • Features: 100+ vendors, including ~40% agricultural producers within 150 miles
  • Parking: Free street parking, parking in the McBee Street District Garage and Texas Mutual Garage
  • Space: Indoor-outdoor

Texas Farmers’ Market at Lakeline | Saturdays, year-round | 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • Features: 90+ vendors, including ~40% agricultural producers and live music
  • Parking: 115 parking spaces in lot
  • Space: Outdoors

Boggy Creek Farm | Wednesday-Saturday | 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • Features: Historic farmhouse and hen house
  • Parking: Park on the farm near John-John’s Garden
  • Space: Outdoors, under canopy

Note: In August the market is only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Barton Creek Farmers Market | Saturdays, year-round | 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • Features: Live music and kids entertainment
  • Parking: Mall parking lot
  • Space: Outdoors

Lone Star Farmers Market | Sundays, year-round | 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.

  • Features: More than 40 booths with local produce and artisan foods

SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown | Saturdays, year-round | 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • Features: 75 vendors, live music on the plaza, and cafe seating
  • Parking: Free at metered spots until 11 a.m., surrounding parking garages for a fee
  • Space: Outdoors

SFC Farmers’ Market at Sunset Valley | Saturdays, year-round | 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

  • Features: 35 vendors, live music, and free parking.
  • Parking: Free lot

Downtown Buda Farmers Market | Sundays, year-round | 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
