Book lovers, do we have some news for you.
The first ever Austin Texas Book Trail takes place this Saturday, April 27 — which just happens to be Independent Bookstore Day.
The day-long event involves 25 local bookstores, kickoff and closing events, opportunities to connect with other readers, and major discounts.
Ready to read? Here’s the itinerary for the day.
9-11 a.m. | Attend the kickoff breakfast at Mañana Dos (111 Sandra Muraida Way, Ste. #101) for free coffee and tacos + your Book Trail map.
11 a.m.-5 p.m. | Visit as many bookstores as you can, marking your trail map for each store you visit. Each visited store = one raffle entry for the wind-down event at the end of the day.
