Come on Barbie, let’s go party at one of these Austin locales celebrating the release of the hotly anticipated “Barbie” movie.

It’s Barbie’s world, and we’re all living in it ahead of the “Barbie” movie release this Friday, July 21.

Put yourself in the little plastic shoes of Barbara Millicent Roberts — where would you celebrate the special day? We may not know how to get to Barbie Land, but we can help you find the next best thing: places to get pretty in pink in Austin.

Morning

First off, you’ll start the morning right with a trip to Revival Coffee, 1405 E. 7th St., Austin’s pinkest cafe. You may want to order the Bichota, an iced strawberry horchata, and a pink glitter concha.

Once you’re awake and ready to face the day, head to the Domain for a photo opportunity at the Museum of Ice Cream, 11506 Century Oaks Terrace, followed by some well-deserved shopping.

Happy Hour is 3-6 p.m. at Taquero Mucho.

Afternoon

No trip to Austin is complete without a visit to the “i love you so much” mural at Jo’s Coffee, 1300 S. Congress Ave., which temporarily holds a love letter from Ken to Barbie. While you’re on SoCo, stop by the Kendra Scott flagship store, 1701 S. Congress Ave., to shop the limited-edition Barbie collection.

If you’re peckish, Taquero Mucho at 508 West Ave. has pink tacos, cocktails, and an atmosphere that perfectly fits the vibe.

One pink cocktail sits in front, another in a mini floatie sits in back.

Order the Come on Barbie, Let’s Go Party (front), Malibu DreamHouse (which comes in a floatie), or the non-alcoholic Life in Plastic from Lefty’s.

Evening

As showtime draws near, grab the crew for some sparkly pink cocktails from Lefty’s Brick Bar, 1813 E. 6th St. Then, make way to your nearest Alamo Drafthouse, where you will find themed menus and screening parties.

If you’re still not ready to leave Barbie’s world after the the movie, head to Las Bis, 721 Congress Ave., which is serving Barbie-themed bites and bevs from now until Sunday, July 23.
