Treat mom with these eats + experiences in ATX on Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is on Sunday, May 11, and we’re ready to celebrate all the mother figures who call Austin home.

A banquet hall set for an event with round tables covered in white linens, each adorned with tiered trays of food, glassware, and floral garnishes, surrounded by beige chairs and tall columns under warm lighting with purple uplighting accents.

The Driskill’s tea ceremony will also provide photo keepsakes to remember the event.

Mom’s the word, because Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 11, and we’re ready to celebrate.

You supply the moms (or grandmas, mother figures, and anything in-between) and we’ll bring the agenda. Here are some local happenings that moms are sure to love.

Eat

L’Oca d’Oro | Bring the whole family for a $55 per person brunch, starting with a family-style antipasti course with six different bites, followed by a special menu consisting of tiramisu sourdough pancakes, bucatini al limone, or smoked brisket Florentine lasagna. Make a reservation.

Bright and airy restaurant interior with floor-to-ceiling windows that open to an outdoor patio area. The indoor space features a marble-topped bar with elegant white stools, gold accents, and shelves lined with bottles and decorative lighting. Tables are set with white linens, gold cutlery, and vases of fresh flowers, surrounded by red upholstered chairs with brass details. A floral-patterned feature wall adds a touch of sophistication, while the outdoor area includes woven chairs and tables under sunny skies, creating a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor dining.
