$45 million. That’s the price tag of one of the most expensive homes in Texas. Guess what? It’s located right here in Austin.
To put that price into perspective, the most recently reportedmedian sales price for a home in the City of Austin was $667,000, and this estate costs ~68 times more.
According to Realtor.com, in 2013 the home was listed at $14.5 million, which makes the current listing $30.5 million more.
The ~15,400-sqftproperty named “Villa Del Lago,” which translates to “lake villa,” was the most expensive house for sale in the Lone Star State until a $60 million “European Chateau-inspired” estate hit the market in Houston last month.
