Shoppers at a vintage booth at the Front Market
Do some early holiday shopping with local creators at the Front Market. | Photo by ATXtoday
The Front Market’s fall season is officially underway at Ani’s Day and Night in southeast Austin.

We recently stopped by the first weekend of the month-long event, and checked out accessories from Moth Mysticals, clothing from Vida Antigua Vintage, publications from American Short Fiction, earrings from Delicada Studios, and so much more. Pro tip: Before you hit the booths, stop inside Ani’s Day and Night to pick up a specialty event cocktail to sip while you shop.

If you’re bummed about missing out, don’t worry: there’s another lineup of talented local creators set for this weekend’s market, as well. (Psst — here are vendor lists for Nov. 26-27 and Dec. 3-4.)

Depending on when you stop by, you may be able to catch these special events:
  • Plus-Size Community Clothing Swap | Sat., Nov. 19 | 12-3 p.m.
  • How to Make a Flower Crown | Sat., Nov. 19 | 3-4 p.m.
  • Pack a Period Kit Party | Sun., Nov. 20 | 3-5 p.m.
THE WRAP

Today’s issue was written by London.

Editor’s pick: Last week we asked you whether you think Austin is really the Live Music Capital of the World. The votes are in, and ~66% of you said yes, with ~33% disagreeing. What city do the naysayers think deserves the title? Nashville.

Personally, I’m on team Austin all the way. 🎶
