Weekend one of Austin City Limits Festival is just days away — how many Austinites are on your must-see list?

There are 24 Austin-based artists getting on stage at ACL, and whether you’re a local music fanatic or want to get more indie artists on your playlist, there’s a set for everyone to enjoy.

We’ve marked our favorites with 🔥 to give you a jump start.

  • Asleep at the Wheel | Honda stage | 1 p.m. | Weekend one | This ACL Fest staple has been playing music with the greats for more than 50 years. 🔥

  • Conan Gray | Honda stage | 4:15 p.m. | Weekend one | Although Conan doesn’t live in Central Texas any longer, the indie pop musician grew up in Georgetown. 🔥

Legacy
  • Singer-songwriter Loretta Lynn — whose country music career spanned 60+ years — died at age 90 in her Tennessee home on Tuesday. Loretta was inducted into the ACL Hall of Fame in 2015. (KVUE)
  • Former Texas women’s basketball star Tiffany Jackson, who played for the university from 2003-2007, died after a long battle with cancer at age 37 on Monday. (KXAN)

  • Crochet everything | From tops to bottoms (and even bucket hats), crochet pieces are a festival crowd favorite.
  • 70s disco | There hasn’t been a better time to unleash your inner disco dancer. Think: flared pants, loose sleeves + earth tones.
  • 21st century cowboy | As Austinites, we’ve always embraced the cowboy look — now it’s time to go all out with cowboy hats, leather boots, and vaquero fringe.
